How To Clean The Paint Off Astainless Sink

Getting paint out of a stainless steel sink? We just moved to a new house, and in all the pre-move painting, DH and friends decided to wash out brushes in the kitchen sink, and now it won't come up out. Already tried SOS pads every bit well as various paint remover products, and nothing seems to be working. Whatsoever other ideas to try? I don't desire to get a new sink!!

My stain-remover go-to in the kitchen is blistering soda. A paste of baking soda and a little water, rubbed following the grain of the stainless, should accept care of it. I go better results using my fingertips than with a sponge or rag.
Once the stains are all out rinse and rinse and rinse again, then dry out well and wipe with a petty cooking oil. Should look similar new.

I'd start with Bar Keeper'due south Friend. I have no idea what's in it, just that stuff works miracles. The smell of it is pretty nasty in a sort of dry powdery fashion.
If that doesn't piece of work, I'd try i of those Mr. Make clean Magic Sponges.
Was it latex or oil-based pigment?

ETA - two other thoughts. Make full the sink with really hot water and throw some dishwasher detergent in, then let it soak.
Otherwise, maybe a sink total of hot h2o and some Oxyclean?

Bed Bath and Beyond definitely has information technology in their cleaning section. Target can be striking or miss. Unremarkably really big grocery stores will take it.
Information technology's in a metallic aureate paper-thin canister (kind of similar Ajax or Comet) with blueish and white writing on information technology. It should be past either the cleaning powders or perhaps by the argent polish department of the cleaning aisle.

- Got it out...
We tried Barkeepers Friend, simply it didn't get it out. DH finally got it off past scraping it off with a razor blade. At least the sink is make clean now besides!!
